Register Online for Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana - pmfby.gov.in

Central government has initiated a scheme Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, for benefiting the farmers of the nation. Last year in 2017-18, Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojana online registration were invited through the agri-insurance.gov.in and this year, the government launched PMFBY new portal for crop insurance, pmfby.gov.in. This portal is fully facilitated with all the features and options of PM crop insurance scheme. Farmers can register online at agri-insurance.gov.in or pmfby.gov.in to get financial assistance to recover the financial crises from crop damage. The farmers application for PMFBY (Crop Insurance Scheme) are open.

Farmers can apply online for Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana 2018 (Crop Insurance Scheme) to get the benefits. This scheme will provide the benefits on the events of crops damaged due to heavy rain, other natural calamities, pests or diseases.

The new PMFBY portal is available in Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu language. The portal is featured with the options like Farmers Application, PMFBY Insurance Premium Calculator, Report Crop Loss, Check PMFBY Claim Status, Register Complaint etc. Besides, guidelines, eligibility and how to apply procedure are also available on the portal. You can also get the list of insurance companies and bank branches to know more about the scheme.

As per the information, the premium amount under PMFBY was set to 2% for Kharif Fasal and 1.5% for Rabi fasal which is much higher compared to the previous crop insurance.

Farmer Application Form - How to Apply Online as Farmer Under PMFBY

Step-1 - Visit the official website or Click Here. On the homepage click at first option, Farmer Application under Farmers Corner then hit the Guest Farmers. Here the Registration form for farmers will display.

Step-2
Fill the farmer registration form accurately with all the information and Submit the below form and Create User.

Step-3
Now you will get UserID, farmer ID and password for PMFBY Login. Do Login using registered mobile number and fill the PMFBY crop insurance application form.
